Frontend (ReactJS) Software Developer


Structo is currently looking for a Frontend (ReactJS) Software Developer. As a Frontend Software Developer, you will be part of the development team in Structo, making solutions for both external customers worldwide and for internal operations. You will build features for the software interface of  Structo’s 3D printing ecosystem. You will work together in a team along with Product Owners. Work will require participation in a cross-functional team to produce high-quality products. This role provides the rare opportunity of you taking part in actual product development, making immediate impact to the business and tremendous learning experience.

key responsibilities:
  • Build new features for the software interface to interact with our main hardware product
  • Analyse and optimize performance and reliability of the apps.
  • Work closely with the team and Product Owner to develop optimized apps
  • Strong knowledge of Web standards and keeping up-to-date with new, upcoming technologies
  • Rationalize and design modularized React components with any given challenges
  • A degree in Engineering, CS or similar field, or related work experience
  • Experience with JavaScript, specifically with ReactJS
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling
  • Good understanding of the components in browser/WebView, such as JS engine, render tree, and other built-in APIs within the browser.
  • Good understanding of different network protocols, types of webservices, and authentication methods at the consumer viewpoint
  • Familiar with Linux environment and able to perform basic scripting on it
  • Experience with distributed version control systems, such as Git
  • Experience with testing and continuous integration
  • Eager and willing to learn new things, stay up to date with the latest technologies, and expand your base skillset to propose new approaches to your work
  • Have strong communication skills, able to interact with non-technical members of the business to gather requirements, troubleshoot, perform user acceptance testing, etc.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
