About Structo

Structo founders

The Structo journey began in 2012 in a small room at National University of Singapore (NUS) where a group of engineers were attempting to build an "inkless printer"; a machine that used a laser to burn black marks onto paper and thus print without using ink or toner. It worked only half the time (and caught fire the other half), so the group shifted their focus to 3-dimensional printing instead. The engineers developed the first prototype of MSLA technology to demonstrate lightning-fast print speeds and scalability, and soon thereafter secured a seed round investment and officially founded Structo.

Over the next few years, the business has grown to become a global organization, with offices in Singapore, USA, Canada and the UK, and with customers all around the world. Structo has also developed into one of the world’s leading 3D printer solution providers. We have revolutionized the field of digital dentistry with higher throughput and lower costs, all without compromising on print quality. In 2020, we'll also be celebrating 2 world firsts:

  1. Launching a fully automated robotic production line capable of printing thousands of unique products per day with minimal human interaction
  2. Launching an all-in-one 3D printing solution + ecosystem that will not only bring a gloves free 3D printing solution into the orthodontist office, but open the gateway for retailers globally to bring 3D printing to their customers in any line of business.

Soon we'll be taking our technology and know-how to other industries that need mass customisation of products.

We've only really just started.
